In this class, people with symptomatic Alzheimer's Disease can have the chance to practice yoga themselves, along with their caregivers. Experience the benefits, and learn about Xana's story and the science behind how yoga can help people with Alzheimer's.
About the instructor, Xana Bel
Xana is a Yoga instructor and a certified 1000+ hrs Yoga Alliance teacher. She has studied in New York City, UK and Europe, and has a masters degree in Therapeutic Yoga.
Xana has worked closely with a family in the familial Alzheimer's Disease community throughout the progression of the disease. With Xana's leadership, this person experienced many benefits of yoga that one might not anticipate. Xana is inspired to spread the word about the many benefits of yoga for people with familial Alzheimer's Disease.
