Support group for people at-risk of familial Alzheimer's disease

Asymptomatic support group

The journey of facing familial Alzheimer's disease (FAD) can be lonely and isolating. At Youngtimers, our mission is to provide community, information, and hope.

Our monthly support groups are moderated by caring facilitators who are licensed health providers familiar with familial Alzheimer's disease. The asymptomatic support group normally meets on the third Sunday of the month at 2pm Central.

Our asymptomatic support group is for people who are at-risk for developing the disease. Some attendees may know their genetic status, while others may not. Attendees face similar challenges around the mental burden of facing the risk, talking to others about their genetics, watching loved ones progress with their own disease journeys, deciding whether to participate in research, planning for the future, and more.

This group is for English-speaking participants.

We’re happy to any questions you may have. If you’d like to talk, contact us. Otherwise, register below.
